Good news from the Eastern Front. Two productions of Victor Weber's Russian translation of "Red Hot Mamas" are scheduled for the 2015-2016 theatre season. The first will be performed at The State Academic Drama Theatre in Tula, a city of 500,000 about 120 kilometers south of Moscow. The second will take place in the city of Alma-Ata (also called Almaty), a city of 1.5 million in Kazakhstan (formerly a part of the USSR) and will be directed by Nina Zhmerenetskaya.
